It might seem a bit ironic to be posting this on social media, but it is important to have some time away from our screens each day and let our minds wander elsewhere.
Now as much as ever we are spending a huge amount of time either looking at a computer screen at work or on our mobile phones and tablets. Whilst it’s great to keep in touch with friends and family and seek inspiration through social media channels, try and give yourself some time each day where you are ‘unplugged’. This time might be spent enjoying hobbies, such as reading or baking, or you might choose to get outside into the fresh air, free from the pings and buzzes of technology and living ‘in the moment’. Such breaks can help productivity, mental well-being and sleep, all of which contribute to a happier and healthy you!
