Whether you’re a walker, a jogger, a plodder or a runner, spending time outside in nature can benefit sleep, improve our energy levels and increase our overall sense of wellbeing.
Today we are challenging you to find a trail or path that you haven’t yet explored from your back door. Lockdown restrictions may limit where we can go and how often we can go out, but try to see this a great opportunity to find those hidden gems in your local area, rather than focussing on what it is stopping you from doing. We often spend so much time getting in the car to take us to the hills or races that we forget how much is close to home!
Ned (posing in the photo) and I took to our local trails on a wet and grey morning, but after getting a good fill of fresh air, seeing deer, ducks and a falcon, we arrived back for brunch energised and ready to make the most of our Saturday.
